Downtown Three Rivers is your community, and we’re doing all we can to make it a showpiece.  It started with a few visionary people making investments in beautiful historic properties with great potential.

Now that we’ve seen what we can do, we are building new strategy around how we proceed.  That means targeted work to recruit and attract the kinds of businesses that our data and experience suggest will work here.  It also means other, strategically-chosen programs – physical improvements, events and outreach, that maximize our work’s effectiveness and efficiency and strengthen our businesses.

We do this because we know that downtown Three Rivers is a success story waiting to happen.  A remarkably intact historic district, surrounded by parks and rivers, close driving distance from larger cities and major arteries, abundant lakes and fabulous produce all around, with a vibrant community of artists, athletes, historians, makers, and entrepreneurs.

We are working hard to make Three Rivers the place where you, your employees, us and our neighbors will desire to live, work, dine, and play to our greatest potential!

The DDA can help if you would like to improve the look of your home or business.

  • We offer signage rebates up to 25%, with a maximum amount of $200*
  • We offer awning rebates up to 25%, with a maximum amount of $300*
  • Free Design Services through Michigan Main Street
  • Discount of up to 30% for painting through Sherwin Williams
  • We also offer facade grants and low interest loans

The DDA also offers:

  • Sidewalk weed control
  • Vibrant welcoming banners
  • Weed trimming
  • Ornamental lighting and Holiday Decor
  • Flowers on Main Street
